Day 4

Today I wore a green shirt from the Gap with my usual jean skirt and my black track pants with the blue stripes down the side from Delia*s under the skirt. (I bought these pants on a field trip with my Mom from the Granit on Chol Hamoed Pesach, to Woodbury Commons, circa April 1999.) At around 11 am or so, I traded the jean skirt for a hot red jumpsuit to go skydiving. That's right, skydiving. Biggest. Rush. Ever. Awesome. Back in the Heights, I have removed the pants and traded the New Balance sneakers for my Reef flip flops.

Day 3

This morning, I started out wearing what I was wearing last night. Let me just back track for a second to say that my commenters yesterday were right; Fridays and Saturdays might be a problem since I'll probably be wearing multiple outfits, what with Shabbos and all. I guess you'll all (like, all 3 of you) have to tune in the next day for details. Anyway, back to this morning, or last night, rather. After a wonderful Shabbos dinner at Shifra's, I realized about half a block away from my own apartment, that I left Pony and keys in her (Shifra's, not Pony's) apartment. After banging on her door for a few minutes, I was left with no choice but to have an impromptu sleepover at the welcoming home of Miriam L. So yes, this morning, at around 9:30, I completed my first Walk of Shame in the very outfit I was wearing last night: an off-white cardigan and a green and off-white embroidered skirt. Back in my own apartment, I changed for the rest of Shabbos into a black shirt with a very high necklined (haha), black Linda Leal shirt underneath, with a black skirt with pink and green flowers on it. That skirt is so old, I have no idea where I got it. I ended the day in every frum girl's favorite uniform: the jean skirt and the black shirt to go see the Hangover.

Day 2

So yesterday I was too cold and today I am too hot. It was so gloomy-looking outside this morning, and the Today Show said rain. So I put on my (slightly too short) jean skirt from Macys that everyone loves even though I think it's too poofy and my green hooded, long sleeve Esprit (notice a trend?) shirt with a black Gap tank top underneath. Yes, when I find something I like, I buy it in every color.

Day 1

Today, thinking it was the last work day of the week for me, I decided to go casual and threw on a knee-length jean skirt and a long sleeve, scoop neck bluish purplish top from Esprit with a white tank top from the Gap underneath. I probably should have worn a coat, but it's June so I feel like I shouldn't have to. At about mid-day, I realized that I am working tomorrow because I traded next week's summer friday with a co-worker. I am also beginning to notice that I own an abnormal amount of purple shirts.
